Kiss of the Wyrm

Doodling on a lovely, sunny morning that sort of went somewhere. Lots more texture stuff going on in this than usual; there's a low-res image grabbed off the net that I autotraced, there's a bunch of translucency, and of course it's rendered out as a GIF for that extra bit of pixel grunge. Sometimes I want lots of muck.

Very much a piece about running with happy accidents.

I dunno what's so wrong about a tasteful and so much cloaked in colors nude.

Wow though. The textures and patterns are crazy here, it's so vibrant. It is so delightful to look at your work.

I figured I'd cut it for the happiness of anyone slacking off and looking at LJ from work. I'd be a little embarassed if snake tits were unexpectedly on my screen myself, even if they were like this. They're still pretty obviously tits.

Really like your texture experimentation here -- seems like a thread worth following. I imagine you could do some pretty neat special effects in Absinthe with that, if you had a mind.

Whoo, nice. I was thinking myself yesterday about the power of GIF to deliberately evoke oldschoolness. I love the strobe-y textures and effects.
