This started as a silly Spelunky fan-art request for Rhea but it decided it wanted to look like a Mike Mignola piece. And then I had to try to color it the way his stuff gets colored, and it ended up all foreboding and gloomy. Sometimes that'll happen!

I don't understand it, but it sure looks nice! Funny, I get more of a Kirby vibe from it. Likely my horizontal hold is off. :"D

Kirby - lineweight + bigger slabs of black = Mignola; it was because of loving Mignola's work that I took a serious look at Kirby!
