Having never had a Tarot deck, I may be wrong, but I love how appropriately symbolic each card has been. I can't wait until you get these printed- I can't think of a better first deck to get. I particularly like the idea of the '99's.

About what percentage of the cards have you done, if I may ask?

28 out of 78. (or of 80, or 84 - depends on if I do the two extra Fools, and all four 99s.) I'm about a third of the way through.

I've never had one either. I just have this weird compulsion to make one. I'm doing a lot of research and developing opinions about the whole history of Tarot decks, but it's quite possible that I could be missing ultra-obvious things and filling these full of all kinds of wrong. On the other hand it's pretty clear that 'wrong' is very subjective in this - if the images are resonant with symbolism, I succeed.

Wow, this one is just absolutely beautiful. I can almost smell the inner peace.

It came out pretty quickly, in sketch and in Illustrator. I must be more peaceful than I used to be.

Hmm, yeah, those are a little bright now that you mention it. There's a few other things I want to tweak on the house, too...
