Choices; changes.

I was hoping to have some more explicit transformation content in here but that didn't work out. Maybe when I revise it I'll put her lost shoes on the path or something.

This needs to get put on FA once they come back up.

Print available on Artspots.

Just for the record, I would totally wear that dress. I have one like it, but minus the green leafies. :]

I have some in similar cuts, too. I dunno if that much green would work on me!

But would you wear the horns? ;P

Woot I say, woot indeed!

Horns! Hooves! Hexcellent!

...why do I have this sudden urge to dig up Ancipital and hack her into the sprites?

This is so simple (nota bene: I do not mean simplistic) and yet it's one of my favorites. It might even be my favorite. The blowing leaves and the serpent on the path.

When I'm home, I think it's time to buy a print.

Ooh, I adore her. This tingles pleasantly in the front of my brain the way the Chariot does.

choices... changes... line gradients. <3

Her eyebrows strike me as kinda odd...they stand out, at least, probably because of the shape and the fact that they're green. Otherwise, cute critter.

I was almost going to go into an apophenic geek-moment, and thought at first that the eyebrows were actually two letters of the Hebrew Aleph-Bet that might have been traditional icons on the 'original' card or maybe the Thoth card... but then I realized it's probably just my mind. Also, I didn't care enough to try and dig up a specific correspondance.

Hmm. That would have been pretty clever, if not for the fact that I made a conscious decision to leave out all the Hebrew letters!

I thought that likely, considering I hadn't seen any letters in the other ones or anything like them. Does other Tarot contain the letters in the artwork? I know there's correspondances, at least in the major arcana and so forth, but I haven't noticed them being made explicit in the actual artwork, usually.

Yes, it does. The RWS is chock full of them - there's flames in the shape of Hebrew characters, carved on pillars, stuffed everywhere.

I keep looking for a hidden Jupiter reference. (like banded clouds in the sky...) The Capricorn ref is obvious enough...I can't help but think that a little JupiGlyph on the handbag wouldn't have been adorable (plus highly beneficial for future marketing attempts!:p )

it is entirely possible that i am just a terrible person

In addition to your usual tingly-good craftwork, the facial expression kind of jumped out at me.

I suspect this is a slightly over-simplistic statement. But I like her, she's cute! The hair, the dress, the purse. All rather cute.
