Fire of Fire.

The credit card was fun to fill in: the first and last sets of four digits are the beginning and end of the arc of the sky that this card 'rules over' (21st degree of Scorpio to 20th degree of Sagittarius); the second set of four is the number of the hexagram TAC says it corresponds to, repeated; the third term is just four random digits. The expiration date is 29/17; Nov 29-Dec17 is when the Sun is in Ophiuchus, which lies between Scorpio and Sagittarius but is not officially part of the zodiac. The name of the credit card is just something I pulled out of my ass.

10 cards left for the show! Not a bad birthday present to myself.

Like the previous card, this needs to go on FA when it comes back.

That's a lot of mystical significance jammed into a credit card! I wonder if it has special powers, like preventing the bank from charging you an overdue fee even when the check you sent them came in an envelope postmarked before the deadline! You bastards, I sent you your money on time, this late fee is just theft pure and simple, and I'm going to pay it, because there is no way in your customer support scheme for me to talk to anyone who can do anything about it!

ahem

But I digress. Are the smiling credit card girl and the psychotic flame throwing girl the same girl? Credit card girl looks like it could be a portrait of someone I think we both know. Not so much flame throwing girl.

You can get a lot of that kind of stuff into sixteen digits!

And yes, they're intended to be the same person.

The credit card girl reminded me of [info]pathia

What, and the hawt dragon in the upper right didn't?! ;)

Some lovely energy in this one, I think; I love the pulling back of the fireball-pentacle, which seems to have some real weight behind it. Appropriate for fire.

Love how you manage to pack in all that neat correspondence-imagery on something so simple as a credit card. And great perspective on it, too.

Heh. I didn't have to do any of the perspective work: I drew it straight on, then wrapped it in a 2x2 distortion mesh, and used the perspective mode of the free transform tool. One quick shape late to be the near edge of the card, I was done!

Thanks.

I've been waiting for this one! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this card! I could tell it was going to be awesome from the sketch, but this is even better than I hoped. (Purple and Red and Black *are* my favorite!) Definitely one of my favorites from the entire deck! What are the numbers on the credit card? I can't make out all of them...
Great Work!

And happy belated birthday!

Thanks!

The numbers are: 0231 5151 7904 0261, 29/17, and the name on the card is 'SCORPIO OPHIUCHUS'. Her parents have a lot of explaining to do, I guess. There's also a star-in-circle-based logo on it, but it ended up being covered by her thumb.

Another year gone by; pretty well-spent, I think, as it mostly went to this deck and the comic that it interrupted!

Coincidentally, this card corresponds with my son's rising sign (10 Sag), who was born Monday.
