Earth of Earth.
This one changed a lot from the sketch. Mostly for the better, I think - having her be made of wood just feels right.
One Major and six Courts left for the show. I need to do some serious sketchwork as most of these Courts don't have roughs I'm actually happy with.
Also, FA upload blah blah blah.
Oh, and sorry to the folks I teased with my appearance on IM last night - it got run by accident, and then the computer seemed to not go to sleep or something. Whoops.

Also, it seems to me that the Prince of Pentacles and Princess of Wands both look a bit more androgynous than most of the others. (possibly because of the formers modest breasts and the latter's smallish shoulders & biggish hips?) Is this intentional?

It's different slices of the same cake, different shapes in the possibility-space of Courts.
The PoP and PoW weren't intended to be androgynous - but it's pleasing that they came out that way! I feel that the best way to generate patterns in large works like this is, in part, to just let them happen; once you notice a theme developing, a pattern happening, it's time to see how you can simultaneously emphasize it and subvert it. I've tried to include some breaking of every pattern I've set up in this deck, and seeing two of the Prince(sse)s end up with less-than-obvious genders is pleasing.
