Earth of Fire.

Six cards left before the show; fifteen days left in this month - I'm only three days behind schedule. pretty damn good for a project of this size. Got a printer lined up, got money coming for the printing, still need to make my final decisions on the frames. Not too bad.

I really gotta sit down with the sketchbook and get some good sketches for the last five Courts; I don't really have a rough I like for any of 'em.

Print available on Artspots.

Because I used to work in a frame shop I've been kinda wondering what you've got planned for frames. Lots of places only carry six of each premade style...we were always doing special orders for gallery showings and special orders can take a few weeks since often the frames are just made to order (or have to be shipped in from Mexico, or both). Also, since you're doing prints you'll probably want mats since the prints could stick to the glass (also looks more 'pro'). Ofc, with the right supplies it's not difficult (only slightly tedious) to cut mats yourself. If you do cut mats don't bother with archival materials for the prints you hang.

Sorry (especially if this is all obvious already)...this is the sort of thing I think about. ^_^;

I was looking at premades but nothing really quite fits the aspect ratios of the cards. I'm leaning more and more to just getting a ton of molding and a mitre saw and doing it myself; it's a lot of work but I think I can make it lighter by having an assembly line framing party or two.

The prints are going to be on archival art paper, so I'm probably going to try to avoid slapping them down on some piece of acidtastic board.

All that and I didn't say anything about the card! *facepalm*

Red hair + dark skin = win. Especially pixie-cut red hair. I unfamiliar with the meaning of the card but the character looks like someone I'd be...sometime...somewhere...
